Important Information About Accommodations At Goddard

There is never a charge for accommodations.
Recovery from substance abuse IS covered under federal disabilities law. We provide a sober housing option and transportation to off-campus meetings & recovery coaching during residencies.
We provide temporary accommodations for temporary needs (e.g. a sprained ankle or recovery from recent surgery). Accommodation letters can be amended at any time to support students’ changing needs.
Having accommodations gives students equal access to do the work in their programs. Accommodations do not guarantee that students’ work will be successful.
We request documentation of students’ disabilities. In most instances, a written statement from an appropriately licensed healthcare provider with a diagnosis will be sufficient. If you are not sure if your documentation will be sufficient, please ask – we really want to work with you
